As I said in my last newsletter, it is a buyers market and quite a few are being sold

They are going with Russian and Eastern European Purchasers. The UK market is still waiting to see how things develop at home before they invest strongly again

There has been a mass exodus from Cyprus over the past year, but the good news is that quite a lot of buyers realize the re-sale market is the better option as it saves them money With not having to purchase such items as air conditioning and ceiling fans, swimming pools as we all know from experience these are expensive items, but all needed in the summer months.

Quite a few of our clients are now deciding to hold on to their properties and rent them long term rather than drop their price and lose out on their original purchase price.

As I stated in the last newsletter, our main market at this time is long term rentals. People coming from the UK are renting for a year or two to make sure that Cyprus is for them.
